Have you ever admired a proposal colleague who epitomizes professional and career success? They seem to have the right mix of attitude, motivation, capabilities and experience, yet we know that not everyone who has these attributes rises to the top of our profession. What are the special factors that give some people the edge to achieve high degrees of professional and interpersonal success?

Attend this meeting to learn what the most important elements of career success are, regardless of your business, industry, or type of proposals. This perspective was gained from someone who has been in the proposal profession for over 25 years and has observed high caliber proposal professionals, including through active participation in APMP. Transform your professional approach and chart a more successful course as you move forward in your career. Post-presentation time will be allocated to address as many questions as we have time for.

Steve Koger provides leadership and expertise in managing proposal operations...centers, staff and processes, in the pursuit to win rocket, missile and space propulsion and defense programs. His career spans many platforms and technology areas, having started in engineering contributing as a subject matter expert, then advancing into senior roles within business development.

Steve is an APMP Fellow and certified at the professional level. His association experience includes serving on APMPs Board of Directors; Chapter Liaison and Professional Development committees; serving as California Chapter Chair, Vice Chair and Treasurer; and planning and supporting nearly a dozen annual chapter conferences at Disneyland. Steve has received APMP’s Chapter Chair of the Year award and has been a speaker and panelist at prior APMP Bid & Proposal and California Chapter conferences.
